In honor of the inauguration of our new Climate Denier in Chief, I’m doing a free giveaway of my climate fiction novel Goodbye Miami! This giveaway will start on Inauguration Day and continue through next Tuesday.

In Goodbye Miami,┬áKass, an American climate refugee, flees Miami in the wake of a hurricane that leaves most of the city underwater. After moving in with her cousin in Southern Illinois, Kass struggles to deal with her displacement. She hopes to find a way to return to the city that she loves. But thanks to global warming, that city is now underwater. What starts as a search for survival quickly evolves into a struggle for the future of Miami — and the world.

Goodbye Miami is a work of fiction. However, it explores an urgent real-world crisis: human-caused global warming. Unfortunately, climate deniers like Donald Trump and his allies in Congress are making it very difficult to deal with this crisis. We can all do our part by reading about global warming, talking about global warming, and taking action both individually and collectively to reduce our emissions and transition to cleaner sources of energy.

I hope you enjoy Goodbye Miami! If you do, please rate and review it on Amazon, Goodreads, and anywhere else you talk about fiction. And remember to share it with your friends!
