I often find myself at a loss for what to do about the climate crisis. Climate science indicates that we’re cooking the planet. Human civilization as we know it will probably end soon if we continue with our current course of action. So far, nothing seems sufficient to change our course. So what am I going to do about it? We have three candidates on the ballot this year: incumbent Democratic candidate Bill Enyart, Republican candidate Mike Bost, and Green candidate Paula Bradshaw. Once every two years or so, someone inevitably complains about my support for "third party" candidates (Shawnee Green PartyIllinois Green Party, and Green Party of the United States).
