Dispatches: Iraq’s Missing Billions.
Dr. Ali Fadhil, a 29 year old Iraqi doctor, investigates the question in this 2006 BBC documentary: What has happened to billions of dollars worth of Iraqi money which was put into the care of the U.S.-led coalition to be spent for the benefit of Iraqi people on the reconstruction of their country? Dr. Fadhil uncovers a shocking story of fraud, incompetence and corruption, unscrupulous foreign contractors who made millions from dodgy contracts, and billions of dollars which cannot be accounted for.

Big Muddy News Radio: Our weekly radio program airs every Wednesday at 9am on WDBX 91.1 FM.
Film Fridays. Join us on Fridays at 7 p.m. for Big Issues on the Big Screen at the Big Muddy IMC. We show films of political and/or artistic significance that offer facts and perspectives that are often underrepresented or misrepresented in the corporate media. Our film showings are sometimes accompanied by a guest speaker and always followed by discussion for anyone who is interested in learning more or becoming more involved.
Meetings: We meet every Wednesday at 6pm at the Big Muddy IMC, located at 214 N. Washington in Carbondale [map]. On the off weeks, we may have meetings for projects such as the newspaper.
