This is an editorial cartoon that appeared in the Daily Egyptian after Fred Phelps and crew came to town. Phelps only had a handful of supporters, so the overwhelming story of the day was the fact that 200-300 people showed up for the pro-diversity rally on the other side of the street. The figure near the center with the wreath on his head and sign in his hand was inspired by me.
