As an advocate of ecological consciousness and practitioner of earth spirituality, the cycles of the Earth and of the sky's many celestial bodies are very important to me. Certainly one of the most important celestial cycles of all is the orbit of the moon around the Earth and the associated cycle of new, waxing, full, waning, and new moon.
