This site is a Wiki -- basically, a site that is edited collaboratively by multiple people. Editing a Wiki is usually very simple. All that you need is a username and Internet access (computer, web browser, internet connection, etc.). Once you have these, you come to the website, log in using your username, and click on the Edit tab at the top of the page to edit just about any page on the site.

If you've never edited a Wiki before, and you want to edit a practice page before making any changes to the "real" pages, try visiting the Sandbox.

Most of the editing is as simple as writing a web-based email. However, you may soon discover that there are some specific tricks used to make text bold, make it a heading, link to another Wiki topic, etc.

If you want a detailed explanation of these, please visit the Wikipedia topic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:How_to_edit_a_page) that explains how to edit a page. Since we're using the same software as Wikipedia, all of the same tips should apply. Also, depending on how much people have been playing with it lately, the Sandbox will usually have examples that will show you how all of these techniques work in action.

If all of this seems like too much to worry about right now, then go ahead and just edit the text portion of your favorite page. The rest will come naturally.
