The Ultima Society is a community of Ultima enthusiasts dedicated to preserving, sharing, understanding, and celebrating all aspects of Ultima, the groundbreaking role-playing game (RPG) series. Currently, the Ultima Society has three main areas of focus:

• Ultima Mythology = Ultima Mythology examines Ultima from a mythological perspective. Topics include World History, Classic Literature (game fiction), Popular Literature (fan fiction), Metaphysics, and Spirituality.
• Ultima Reality = Ultima Reality examines Ultima from a real-world perspective. Departments include Ultima History, Canonical Games, Fan Games, Fan Culture, and Current Events.
• The Wayfarers = The Wayfarers are a movement of people who honor the Way of the Avatar as a real world philosophy.

In addition to this collection of information, we have a set of Forums (http://treesong.org/ultimasociety/forums/) where YOU can share your thoughts about Ultima, ask questions, offer responses, and so on. Together, we can maintain the legacy of Ultima by keeping the community as lively as ever.
