Climate nonfiction is a broad genre of writing that includes all works of nonfiction that focus primarily on the climate crisis.
Some works of climate nonfiction are journalistic or documentary in nature, striving to present information about the climate crisis in a relatively “academic” or “objective” manner. Others, such as creative climate nonfiction, use literary techniques to tell more personal and compelling stories about the climate crisis. All of it qualifies as climate nonfiction.
This site will soon include a climate shop where you can browse curated lists of climate content organized into several categories, including climate nonfiction. In the meantime, please check out my Bookshop shop and Goodreads profile for lists of some of my favorite climate nonfiction titles.
