Q: Your tables are messed up! All
I can see is some of the links, there are these big empty boxes next to
them.
A: Your browser is messed up! With
archaic versions of Netscape and maybe some obscure browsers too, table
colors do not work well. The pages look fine on my computer and with my
version of Netscape (just updated to Netscape Communicator 4.01). If you're
having trouble due to your browser being a different version from mine,
sorry. :) Selecting the 'invisible' text should help you to read it with
early Netscape versions.
Q: Are you guys [The Wayfarers] a cult?
One of these Internet cults I heard of? I heard that you people wear black
velvet shrouds and shed your containers or something.
A: I will only say this once... No!
We are not a cult. A while back there was some negative publicity about
Internet groups due to a cult mass suicide. If you truly are concerned
that we are a dangerous cult, feel free to research cults extensively and
if you still think we are a cult, then I am astonished and would like to
hear your expert analysis.
Q: Are the Wayfarers an Ultima fan club?
I know you've got a lot of Ultima Dragons as members, I think they're a
fan club.
A: No. We are not an Ultima fan
club. We are a group of people who have adopted a way of life as our own,
originally from the fictional Ultima world, due to our respect for its
principles. Since many Ultima Dragons know of these principles through
Ultima, it is not surprising that more than one of us is a member of that
group. Check out the Wayfarers homepage and my Shrine of Virtue page for
more details.
Q: Are the Wayfarers a religious group?
A: No. We do not share a common
metaphysical belief, we do not have common religious ceremonies, and many
members of the Wayfarers do belong to organized religions such as Christianity,
Judaism, and others. We also have our fair share of agnostics and atheists.
If you disagree about our religious status, be sure that you are well informed
about the nature of religions and feel free to contact me.
Q: If you could pick any animal, mineral, or
vegetable to be, what would you pick?
A: Fictonal or nonfictional? In the real world
being a human suits me well, but I might enjoy being a dragon :)
Q: Do you really think you're the Avatar?
Hahahahah...
A: I'm glad you find it amusing. :)
First off, no, I don't think I'm the fictional character who travels to
another world and hurls spells and slices and dices monsters, if that's
what you mean. I do however believe that after years of struggle, torment,
blood, sweat, and tears, etc, I have become a person of goodwill and good
intentions, and I feel that I always do what I believe is right. An ethical
person, Avatar of the Eight Virtues? Yes. A saint, unquestionable in judgement
and untouched by temptation, with powers and abilites far beyond those
of mortal men? Not by any stretch of the imagination :) See my homepage
or talk to me to find out more...
