Today’s gi-normous update is that we are now using Geeklog (http://geeklog.net) as the main software for the site.
Until all of the updates to this new version of the site are made, you can view the old version at (https://treesong.org/index_old.php). Let me know what you think of this dramatic transformation!
Geeklog is an expanded weblog tool that lets me manage my blog using a script that runs here at treesong.org rather than on some external site. It also offers many more features than the old software while providing for all of my needs (so far!) that are not delegated to other software.
Some sections of the site will be in flux for a few weeks as I explore other forms of content management software (such as MediaWiki) and decide whether or not to use them for special sections of the site. Also, all of my old blog entries will remain at my old blog site until or unless I figure out a way to merge the two blogs. But in the meantime, feel free to explore the new look and feel of treesong.org — and be sure to let me know what you think!
