Local Democracy is a community radio show about democracy and how we practice it in our local communities. Our emphasis is on the practice of democracy in Carbondale, Illinois. We also strive to contribute to the discussion and practice of democracy throughout Southern Illinois and beyond.
Local Democracy is hosted by Treesong, an author, talk radio host, and Real-Life Superhero living in Southern Illinois.
Local Democracy airs every Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. Central on WDBX 91.1 FM, Solar-Powered Community Radio for Southern Illinois.
