Happy Read An Ebook Week!
March 5-11 is Read An Ebook Week. This holiday is an opportunity for people who haven’t ever read an ebook to give it a try. It’s also an opportunity for people who already love reading ebooks to find some new titles!
In honor of Read An Ebook Week, I’m participating in a huge ebook promotion on Smashwords. Many participating authors have made their books available at a major discount or entirely free. You get some fun new ebooks. Authors like me get a week-long boost in sales. Everyone wins.
You can celebrate Read An Ebook Week in many ways. Here are a few quick and easy ideas:
- Set aside uninterrupted reading time for yourself, especially if that’s something you don’t usually do.
- Check out all of the book promos at Smashwords this week. I haven’t seen an official count of how many books and authors are participating, but it’s at least in the hundreds.
- Check out all of my books at Smashwords. They’re all 75% off this week, including preorders for my climate poetry collection All The Climate Feels!
- Tell your friends! Ask them what they’re reading and tell them what you’re reading, especially if it’s something you found through Read An Ebook Week.
- Ebooks are more affordable than print books. But if you’re not in the mood to spend any money, libraries have ebooks too! For example, you can read my four published books [Change, Order, Goodbye Miami, Cli-Fi Plus] on Hoopla, an ebook borrowing system used by many libraries.
However you celebrate, the important thing is to embrace your love of reading. If you’re more of a print book person, you can always find print books on Bookshop or anywhere else you buy books. Either way, thanks for reading!
